News from Gateway Centre - November 2006

A BIG WELCOME TO OUR NEW TENANTS!

Lucid Consulting, LLC has recently moved into suite 210 and we are glad to have them as a part of Gateway Centre. Lucid Consulting partners business and technology by designing and implementing solutions in the areas of core accounting, manufacturing, and distribution.  Lucid offers a unique understanding of business needs and suggests methods to effectively meet client needs by using appropriate software and current technology.

Also, Bonnie McKinnon of Whatcom Hypnotherapy has moved into suite 232 and is also a welcome addition to our floor. She is also a smoking cessation specialist.

There is also a new face at Lustick Law Firm! Maggie recently started as an assistant for the firm and I know she is a welcomed addition there as well as to Gateway Centre. Please feel free to introduce yourself as you see them around the building!

The topic for November is Persistence!
November 8th and November 22nd

Persistence is defined as “voluntary continuation of a goal-directed action in spite of obstacles, difficulties, or discouragement.” Just as fear is a prerequisite for courage, challenge is a prerequisite for persistence. Simply measuring how long someone sticks with a task does not adequately capture the essence of perseverance because continuing to perform something that is fun or easy does not involve overcoming of obstacles or disappointment. Find out how persistence relates to self-esteem, rewards, and how to develop persistence
