News from Gateway Centre - March 2006

A BIG WELCOME TO OUR NEW TENANTS!

The Lustick Law Firm has taken on a new attorney and we are pleased to welcome him. Mark Kaiman specializes in Criminal Defense and Family Law. He is a welcomed addition to Lustick’s office as well as Gateway Centre and we are glad to have him here.

Other new additions to Gateway include Service Alternatives for Washington in suite 228. Program Manager Jon McGrath tells us that “Service Alternatives for Washington, Inc. is a statewide human service company. Our program here in Bellingham works specifically with individuals with disabilities in vocational settings. We work with local businesses as well as with our clients to make good job matches based on the needs of the company and the abilities of our clients. We’re then often able to provide long term support to our clients as they continue to progress in their careers.” Please feel free to introduce yourself as you see them around the building!

We also have one semi-new tenant who you may have seen around the halls. JV Industrial took over one of the former Credo Construction offices over in 219. They are only here for about another couple weeks but it has been wonderful to see them around the hallways. We wish them the best of luck in their new place!

For the month of March you may see Cheryl Dickerson coming and going from suite 216. She is a virtual tenant who is using an office suite here during the hectic pace of tax season. We are glad to see her around and will be sad to see the month end.

There are a couple new tenants coming in the next month or so as well so new faces will be showing up all over!

CELL PHONE CONFIDENTIALITY!

We sometimes receive phone calls at the front Reception Desk asking for tenant’s cell phone numbers. We want to take this opportunity to assure you that we will NEVER give out your cell phone number, unless you give us prior instructions to do so. We have many of your cell phone numbers at the front desk in the case of emergencies so that we can contact you; however, your confidentiality is very important to us. If you DO ever want your number given out to any individual, please let us know at the front desk.

FAX REMINDER!

Please do what you can to encourage your clients to include a cover sheet if at all possible when they fax you a document. This is the best way to ensure that you receive your faxes in a timely manner.

Please don’t take faxes off the fax machine if they aren’t for you. Our staff will take responsibility for managing the machine and putting faxes in people’s boxes.

If you’re looking for a fax and it’s not on the machine, please check the “unclaimed faxes” tray next to the fax machine. Those are faxes that have come in without a cover letter and which our team of experts have been unable to identify.

RECYCLING!

You can now recycle your old toner cartridges at Gateway Centre! There is a bright and shiny blue recycle bin located in the janitorial closet next to the copy center!
