Hi there! I’m Bruce Jorgensen, Doctor of Chiropractic with 20 years of experience, specializing in problems of the spine and life quality aspects of your health related to the nerve system. I work with your entire spine and extremities, as needed, to assure proper communication between your mind and your body, and help you rehabilitate your body after injury or illness. When proper communication through your nerve system is compromised, your potential for optimum health is reduced. As proper communication is restored, you own personal Innate Intelligence can accurately guide you back to health. After all is said and done, without a properly responding nerve system, your body will not rebalance all aspects of your health and your overall health picture will deteriorate.

Chiropractic adjustments remove the interference from your nerve system and allow proper control of your health to happen naturally. If you are recently broken, have had problems for years, or just want to be better and more energetic than you are now, we can help you achieve your own health goals.

At Jorgensen Family Chiropractic you will be thoroughly examined to determine the cause of your problems, then a plan of correction will be explained. Spinal and extremity adjustments will likely be prescribed, along with possible bracing, supports, or orthotics for stabilizing damaged joints. At the beginning of care we usually have an intensive schedule to get you the relief you are seeking, then a less intense period where correction of misalignments and nerve irritation is addressed. Those two phases are the “exciting” portion of your healing, where pain is reduced and function begins to return. Later, we move into the “boring” rehabilitation portion of care where the tissue healing happens. Special exercises for strengthening and stretching your healing tissue happens over a period of time, and the adjustment cycle is more relaxed. Examinations are done at regular intervals to assess your healing, your expected final prognosis, and to determine what level of care is right for your optimum health. People heal at different rates, and the correction plan is directed to each individual’s needs. Exercise routines are often modified after these examinations, addressing your most current need for rehabilitation. When you are finished with your correction and healing, you may chose to continue wellness or maintenance care to keep the spine clear of interference and help optimize your health.

You are the most important part of healing, no matter what style of care you may choose. At Jorgensen Family Chiropractic, we respect your individuality and naturally make full use of you during your rehabilitation. With our conservative approach to health and healing, we will do all we can to help you avoid more aggressive and costly methods, but refer you to medical and other forms of health care when your condition warrants and your health is best served.
